so sorry I didn't blog yesterday, I was really sick. Anyway, lets get back to the books...
The Hunger Games by Susan Collins
I know this book has been very popular recently, and I just managed to get my hands on it, so I thought I would give it a review. Firstly, this book is awesome. The author is very skillful when it comes to inventing battle scenes, which is a good thing too, because the book is full of them. The book is actualy one of a trilogy, the second and third of which i will review some time in the near future. The book is about a nation called panem that rose up from the ruins of a place once called north america. The Capitol rules over 12 districts. 74 years befor the main story takes place, the distrcts and the Capitol fought. The Capitol won, and every year since, they gave them the annual hunger games, where all children between 12 and 18 had their names put into a huge bowl and the girl and boy who's names came out of the bowl, were thrown into an arena to fight to the death against 23 other tributes. The poor children could sign up for terrese, to put their name in the pot more often in exchange for a small amount of food, and... well, It's too much info to put here, so just buy the book and find out for yourself!!!
